Our client, major lessor, seeking someone with excellent collections experience in the asset finance and/or automotive industry. Minimum of 2/3 years Collections experience specifically in bad debt collection, insolvency, litigation and asset recovery. Needing technical expertise in all areas of the collections process. This role is predominantly focused on arrears collection within 60-90 days. Management of a portfolio of arrears cases over various sectors; working with suppliers, vendor and broker partners to maximise recoveries. Arranging sustainable repayment plans through effective evaluation of income and expenditure of customers. Take responsibility for managing occasional projects. Liaise with Asset Management to obtain valuations on delinquent accounts. Working with the Collections Team Leader on serious delinquencies. Knowledge of contract and consumer credit is essential. Offering good hybrid working options.
Head of Collections & Recoveries, London

Wholly owned subsidiary of a well established City based bank. Reporting directly into their Risk Director, you will be overseeing an established Collections and Recoveries team of six, controlling all processes, with a strong focus on portfolio oversight, responsible for identifying all potential problem debt exposures. Provide the highest levels of customer service quality whilst minimising risk and costs and achieving critical KPI’s. Follow policy, using good awareness of compliance, legal processes, insolvency procedures and statutory requirements. Management of strategic initiatives for business long-term performance plans, liaising with senior management/ Directors on debt management, arrears and repossessions. Provide timely production of management information to support decision making. Candidates must have a good knowledge of credit risk, restructuring and legal recoveries. Proven people management and leadership skills essential. Flexible on applicants’ locations, with good hybrid options. Main leasing division based just outside of London.
