Our client, part of a major European Bank, are seeking an experienced risk analyst to manage the statistical segment of their Credit Risk department, focusing on the analysis and evaluation of the portfolio. Covering all areas of their risk automated decisioning system and collections activity. Looking at trends and development that will enhance their offerings in supporting Sales, Business Development and Collections functions. Scope, plan and help in the delivery and testing of reports both locally and from their Central Data Function. Provide clear portfolio data to allow for further analysis, and work closely with the senior risk management team to identify issues. Propose solutions for effective decision-making. Use data-gathering techniques to improve data collection methods. Merge, manage, interrogate and extract data, and monitor, control, develop, test and implement changes. Will involve ad-hoc reporting and involvement in related projects. Requires Advanced Excel and strong communication and presentation skills. Offering good hybrid (WFH) options.

Mix of programmes, dealership/reseller business and broker introduced. Hi-Tech through to Transport, Construction and Industry. 60% IT (some Medical/Renewables/Green), 40% Hard Assets. Managing around 5 deals a day. Joining an existing team of 7 experienced Risk Non-Flow Managers. Top analyse credit data and financial statements to determine the degree of risk involved in extending credit for middle-ticket transactions. Interpret internal and external credit reference agency, broker and market reports. Generate financial ratios, using internal credit tools, to evaluate financial status and where necessary undertake benchmarking to compare liquidity, profitability and credit history of customers within a similar or the same industry and geographic locations. Use collateral curve analysis in line with market, sector, and portfolio considerations. Review current exposures as well as non-current customer/supplier/ third party introductory sources. Our client, major Bank, requires an experienced credit analyst to underwrite deals across various sectors/assets. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of credit experience. Analyse credit data and financial statements to determine the degree of risk involved in extending credit in mainly sales-aid leasing/flow business generally to £500k. Interpret internal and external credit reference agency, broker and market reports. Generate financial ratios, using internal credit tools, to evaluate financial status and where necessary undertake benchmarking to compare liquidity, profitability and credit history of customers within a similar industry and geographic locations. Prepare domestic and external risk reports. Review existing transactions periodically and regularly update their internal systems for risk monitoring. Make recommendations for the ongoing development of processes and practices. Provide guidance and instructions to front office for efficient and productive risk identification, analysis, assessment and presentation. Reports to their Risk Team Leader. Senior Credit Underwriter, Hampshire

Well established Bank, seeking an experienced underwriter to handle new credit proposals and recommend new credit proposals outside of personal mandate. Preparation of credit papers for submission to Senior Credit Managers and Credit Risk. Ensure credit analysis of each proposal is appropriate for the level of any advance and provide guidance to the credit team and the wider SME business on credit policy and appetite. Deputise for Senior Credit Managers when required. Build effective relationships within SME Lending, the Bank and attend customer visits. Encourage an open culture with regular two-way communication with the team, as well as Sales, Asset Management and Collections/Recoveries. You will have strong commercial lending experience in both unsecured and secured lending and be able to demonstrate an understanding of funding a wide range of assets and lending structures. An ability to work in a direct and broker origination model. Requires advanced written and presentation skills in order to produce credit papers. Good hybrid working available.

They have solid growth plans, and now have a newly created underwriting position to support their growing business volumes. You would be working alongside a small experienced credit team to support the Head of Credit Asset Finance. Requires at least 3 years experience in a similar underwriting position, with good exposure to flow lending and the SME market. Knowledge of lending principles, credit analysis and underwriting methodologies for small ticket transactions. Managing and approving deals up to around £150k, but will also manage some larger applications, to say £500k. Main focus on business critical assets ie commercial vehicles, coaches, haulage, materials handling, machinery, and also including a fair proportion of high-end/classic car finance (Ferraris/ Porches etc). Building close relationships with brokers and customers. Ensuring the quality of new business proposals and their portfolio, with full compliance of lending policies, and delivering timely credit decisions. Applicants likely to be living around Hampshire/Berkshire, though good hybrid working is available.
